On the baseline pass at 1.4 bar, the car made 477 and 404 torque. Right there and then I knew something is wrong. I leaned it out a bit and was hitting 515whp no problem. I then decided to run 1.7 bar and the car still only made 522whp. The car didn't even make more tahn 10whp with .3 bar more. The dynos wideband was saying I was running 12.0 on boost but there was still lots of black smoke so I am sure there wideband isn't 100% correct. I didn't want to lean it out more because if I was wrong about their wideband, it would cost me a motor. All this was done at 15 timing. What can cause all this power loss? Maybe its the leak on the passenger side turbo inlet? Maybe my intercooler is too small for my new turbos? Maybe my engine is hurt? Maybe the dyno is way off since its been around for ages? I really dont know anymore and was expecting a baseline run of over 600whp. I will post the dyno runs later on today. I am just dissapointed in the fairlady today. I will probably bring it back to my tuner to fix the leak and go on the dyno again and have him tune it since I am no tuner. One step at a time.
